Bookworm does Drawing

Design, Life

As most of you know, I’m a design student, so drawing is something of a passion of mine. I sketch a LOT! I wanted to show here my progress, as in, we don’t all magically start out as a fantastic artist. It takes lots of practice! Doodles on powerpoint slides, notes, napkins, paper tablecloths, coloring books, and the like!
So here are some pieces from years ago!

The last one is from sometime in middle school if I’m not mistaken. The ones above it are from high school. Now, clearly I’ve worked a lot more on my style since then.
And my more recent pieces! (From 2 years ago on the bottom, to last week on the top)
Drawing is all about development, searching for your own style, and practice practice practice!
Doodling and sketching has always relieved stress for me, and I love just scribbling away on lazy days! Speaking of scribbles, I’m probably going to put more things up on my Etsy shop pretty soon!!

Wow, I love your style of drawing! I love the idea of drawing and I always awesome cool pictures playing out in my head, but the second I take pencil to paper…it's just a mess! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  • Thank you! Progress is fun to watch!

  • It certainly takes quite a while to grow! Thank you!

  • I have that issue to sometime, I'm always sketching to try and get all my ideas out on paper

  • Thank you!! You should start drawing again! I'd love to see it! 😀
