My Summer Playlist – #SummerBloggerChallenge

Blogging, Life

I was trying to explain to my boyfriend that before he came into my life, the way I found my music was: 50% Sarah, 20% Tumblr, 20% Pandora, and 10% other random places. Now it’s probably: 40% boyfriend, 30% Sarah, 20% Pandora, 10% Tumblr/misc. I’ve been looking back at old songs this summer and finding some new ones too! So here is my summer playlist, as told by my Pandora, iTunes, & YouTube favorites:
Stay Stay Stay – Taylor Swift
My Old Ways – Future Monarchs
길이나  Anyway – Akdong Musician (AKMU)
Galaxy – Akdong Musician (AKMU)
Tonight – SPICA
One Way Love – Allison Weiss
까탈레나 Catallena – Orange Caramel
Cough Syrup – Young the Giant
Hopeless Wanderer – Mumford & Suns
The Boxer – Jerry Douglas
Now you Lift Your Eyes – Stars of Track and Field
Laura Palmer – Bastille
Science vs. Romance – Rilo Kiley
Not Now – Little Boots
Arms – Christina Perri
Little Talks – Of Monsters and Men
Feel Good Inc. (Cover) – Celia Pavey
Man – Neko Case
Team (Cover) – Puddles “Sad Clown with the Golden Voice”
Call me Maybe (Cover) – Us the Duo
Jenny – Studio Killers
I tried to keep this list more english music than Korean music, which is the bulk of what I tend to listen to, because I don’t want to overwhelm anyone! (Normally in my car it’s all VIXX, Block B, AKMU, and other K-pop artists, whoops!) This summer playlist is a mix of everything! I tend to have varying taste in music (while I sit here listening to my boyfriend play hardcore metal music on the record player in the other room, while he plays finger drums on the desk) so I like to try new artists when I get a chance!!
What are your summer jams??

  • Great list! 🙂

  • I LOVE Of Monsters and Men… I listened to their CD over and over while planning my wedding and working on decorations that every time I hear them I immediately think of my wedding 🙂

I didn't know you liked K-pop! I was more of a J-pop fan to be honest, even though I have no idea what they were saying I always loved listening to Japanese music more than English (before anyway, now I tend to just stick with English pop)

I just listen to whatever's on the radio – right now I'm loving Iggy Azalea!
