Summer Throwback – #SummerBloggerChallenge

Blogging, Life

Let’s see, I’ve had a bunch of summer memories that have piled up over the past 23 years. It’d be hard to pick just one to look back on! (Apologizes in advance for the poor quality pictures, but I had to pull a bunch off Facebook!)
So I’m throwing back across the years:
Back in summer 2013 I went on an amazing trip to the Outer Banks with my best friend who is now in South Korea teaching English! I spent a week with her and her family in a house on the beach and it was just so amazing! Summer 2013 was also the summer I met my boyfriend for the first time. It was a nice summer, that’s for sure!

Back in 2012 I spent summer working in Pittsburgh, going to the Outer Banks with my cousin Eva and generally being lazy. I actually don’t remember anything too special about that summer at all. Oops.
In 2011 I spent some days in my hometown with my cat, she was getting old and sick by now and I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. This would turn out to be my last summer with her, and I still miss her bunches. She was a precious light in my life. I also got to spend some time in some awesome parks.
I can’t really recall 2010 summer, but the one of the best memories lays in the summer of 2009, which was the summer before I went to college. To celebrate, my family took a cross country road trip. It spanned almost a full month and we drove SO MUCH! It went from east to west coast, up the west coast, and back to the east coast again. I’ll have to make a proper post about it sometime, but that’s probably one of my favorite memories of a summer ever…well…aside from this current summer!
What is your favorite summer memory?
