Excerpt from the story so far:
“We work on our respective projects, mine writing. Trying to fix up another draft of an article that I’ve been commissioned to write, but I just can’t get into the grove. My mind keeps wandering and I’m searching the web to try and explain what had been going on. My history is probably already full of similar searches. Articles I’ve already clicked on flash by as I scroll. The idea of a shared conscious and other psychological ideas dating back to another time, but that’s not it. It’s something more than that kind of thing, I know it, something else that I can’t explain. We talked about it right when we found out what was going on, Sydney and I, chalking it up to how close we are. Joking that we were the same person in two bodies, that we are connected by the red string of fate, or that we were two parts of the same thing.”

  • Your characters sound really interesting! Can't wait to hear more.

  • Thank you!!

  • Kay

I love your sketches! The characters sound great, and I love this excerpt. The end, where you are describing their friendship, is such a perfection description of myself and my BFFs relationship! We always joke about parallel lives; the themes in our life always seem to change together in the same manner!

  • I'm glad that I'm not the only one who likes making a list of the random, weird things that characters my like!! Great sketches!
    ~Sara

  • Thank you! My BFF and I are the same way!!

  • I always make lists like that!!
