Sponsor Spotlight #2

Blogging

It’s time for my second sponsor spotlight! Wow! I’m so happy to have my blogging friends hanging out on my sidebar!! I feel like I’ve lost some steam this month, but I’m going to get it back!! I will have some special announcements about the month of January, but I’ll keep those under wraps for now! (Some people already know though haha!) Anyways, let’s get started with highlighting my sponsors for the month!

Sara has been my blogging friend since, well, almost the beginning of my blog! She’s always supported me, commented on my posts, and helped me to promote myself! She’s beautiful, wonderful, and such a sincere person! You should really check her out at Sincerely, Sara! She always has awesome fashion posts, inspired by posts (which are just my favorites!), and more!!
1. Favorite comfort food for the winter months?
Most definitely soup! It’s the perfect thing to eat in the winter because it warms you from the inside and it’s filling. Broccoli cheddar soup, chicken noodle, and Italian wedding are my favorites. I’m getting hungry just thinking about them.
2. Do you like the snow? If you don’t get snow, would you want to move somewhere it snows?
I love the snow! I love seeing it fall outside my window and when I walk outside I love having it land on my shoulders. Of course the major downsides are that I’m afraid I’m going to slip, I hate driving in the snow, and I hate shoveling inches upon inches of it. Why is it so heavy?

3. Do you have a least favorite book?
That’s a great question. I hate Ethan Frome. I had to read it in high school and I thought it was horrible. Also, I hate that I read all of the Twilight books. The first one I enjoyed, but the other ones…some of the stuff in those book is just laughable.

4. What is your dream job?
Honestly, reading books and watching TV all day! That would be ideal, but since that’s probably never going to happen I would love to keep doing social media and hopefully write for the magazine as well. Plus I want to be a published author!

5. I you could turn into an animal for the day, what would it be?
A bird! I’ve always wished I could fly. I’ve had tons of dreams where I’m flying over New York City. I love owls, so that would be fun. Flying over New York City at night would be magical.

6. What first got you into blogging?
It’s not very exciting, but I first got into blogging because everyone told me that a writer should have a blog, so I started blogging with little idea of what I would write about. Eventually I decided that I needed to write about the things that I really loved, so I found my niche and fell in love with blogging and the whole community.

7. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what book would you choose?

Easy: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It’s my favorite book and I could (and have) read it so many times. I’m pretty sure that I will never get tired of reading it. I love the story, the emotions, how bad ass Hermione is, the time travel, the collision of the past and present, and how everything comes together at the end.

I loved getting to know Llinos! She runs a great little blog over at The Lilac Linnet where she blogs about a lot of things! She’s written some great personal posts, posts for girls/women, and some fun DIYs as well!! If you haven’t already, check her out!!

1. Favorite comfort food for the winter months?
This definitely has to be crumpets, smothered with butter or Nutella! Bliss.

2. Do you like the snow? If you don’t get snow, would you want to move somewhere it snows?
As a child I liked the snow.  I used to get dressed up in cosy clothes and make footprints in the snow, or build a snowman.  As an adult, I find snow stressful.  I worry about travelling around Christmastime, as my family live so far away.  Here in the UK, sometimes in the winter we get snow and sometimes we don’t.  If we do, the country just grinds to a halt. I wouldn’t want to live somewhere where snow is a more frequent type of weather!
3. Do you have a least favorite book?
Yes! Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.  I just can’t abide it and I intend never to go near it ever again.  The plot, writing style and characters do nothing for me.
4. What is your dream job?
My dream job… this is a tough one.  I’d love to work for a charity because charity work is something very close to my heart and I’ve done a lot of work to support cancer and children’s charities.
5. I you could turn into an animal for the day, what would it be?
Can I be a panda?  I want to sit with my panda friends and eat bamboo and get to see China!  I would be doing something to save pandas from extinction by being one for a day, surely?!
6. What first got you into blogging?
Basically, blogging looked like a lot of fun and I wanted in on it!  I thought it would be a great way to create a regular writing practice in my life, and connect with other cool ladies at the same time.  It allows me to share all the things I love, like books and crafts.
7. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what book would you choose?
Only one book?  Hmmm… I will go for The Last Letter from Your Lover by JoJo Moyes.  It’s so poignant and romantic, such a beautiful love story.

So those were my two lovely sponsors this time around!! You should also check out the lovely lady who are ad swapping with me! Like A Cup of Tay, Guiltless Reading, and The Subtle Hipster!!
