Travel Diaries – Old Downtown & New Downtown

Travel Diaries

Ulsan has two downtowns, Old and New. What makes them so different? I’m glad you asked! Old downtown is a little cheaper, has more small boutiques, and less places to eat. While New Downtown has more expensive shops, department stores, more tourists, and way more places to eat. Both are pretty fun, it sort of depends on what you are looking to do with your time in Ulsan. Do you want to eat and party and shop at places you could find in the States? New Downtown. Are you looking to shop small and find/search out hole in the wall places to eat? Old Downtown.

Old Downtown

New Downtown

I preferred old downtown, but it was for a rather biased reason, which is something I’ll cover soon in another Travel Diaries…and that would be…THE CAT CAFE! It was a magical experience that I need an entire post to cover! Look forward to the next travel diaries!

Love the Mad for Garlic sign/wreath! I need one of those in my kitchen haha.

  • We didn't eat there, but I loved the wreath as well! It was so funny!
