A Romantic Tea Time + Giveaway!

When TeaBox Express reached out to me I was so excited! I’m a huge tea drinker and lover of all things tea related! The perfect end to any day, good or bad, is holding a hot cup of tea in your hand as you relax on the couch. It melts all the day’s sorrows out of you. Well, at least it does for me! February’s box is catered to the romantics, with two great teas to try: one chocolatey and the other rose-y. It also has chocolate, a steeper, lip balm, and a cute little candle! It’s a romantic tea party in a box, and it was perfect for Valentines Day!

First, it comes in the perfectly packed little box. I’m a stickler for presentation, especially being in the advertising/graphic design/marketing field, so I adored how beautifully packed the box was. Opening it up made me squeal a little with joy!
I was so excited to try these two new teas that I’m adding to my collection! I figured that for a romantic tea party, I should use my his and her mugs! I bought these on a whim when I was single, haha yep, I bought his and her mugs when I was single. I thought they were cute, so I got them. Being single didn’t stop me. Anyways, now they actually can come in handy! See? I made a good purchase for the future!
The tea in my cup (the lips) is the rose tea. It has a lovely subtle floral flavor and is just the right amount of rose. It’s a green tea, which, in my opinion, goes the best with the florals. A good flowery green tea is perfect for relaxing.
The tea in his cup (the stache) is the chocolate tea. I’ve never really had a chocolate tea before. I normally only drink floral teas, fruity teas, and plain jane black teas. I wasn’t really expecting it to be so good! It almost has a minty flavor with a chocolatey after taste that fills your mouth. It’s perfect for a late night cup of tea to have in bed while reading.
I also loved the scent of the candle, it was bold and spicy! The chapstick was tasty and really felt nice on my terribly chapped lips! This box was such a lovely surprise! Also, last but certainly not least, the chocolate bar! I’m a huge fan of coconut in chocolate, and even though I don’t like dark chocolate as much as milk chocolate, coconut does taste best in dark chocolate! I can’t dispute that!
I’m sure you’re now jumping to see what’s in March’s box, I know I am! So I have an awesome giveaway for you! TeaBox Express is going to be giving away a TeaBox to one of my readers! Also, that’s not it! You can also use this code: BOOKWORMS20 to get 20% off your first month’s box when you order a recurring subscription!
Disclaimer: I received this February TeaBox for free in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

  • Those mugs are the cutest!

  • I adore tea (green tea is probably my favorite, but these days, I've been really loving peppermint! <3 ), and those mugs are super cute! 😀

  • Planning for Paris

I love cinnamon tea and green tea!

  • Oh this is so cute! I drink tea all day long but I'm not too adventurous, usually green or peppermint tea :/

  • I've never heard of a chocolate tea before! That sounds amazing! I'm a big tea fan.. I drink even more during the cold winter months. I love chamomile at night

  • Kay

I tend to be a bit boring with my favorite tea – just black (generally orange pekoe). I do also enjoy Earl Grey as well for my standard cup.

  • Thank you! I couldn't resist buying them from Target when I saw them!

  • Celeste

I didn't even know there was a subscription box for teas. : D These teas sound so lovely!

  • TEA! How did I not know this existed!? Currently, I've got a chocolate/java tea going on. Though I've been lusting after the tea I sampled at Teavana a few weeks ago that tasted like almond biscotti.

  • Chocolate tea? Um, yes please. I'm still entering the realm of hot teas. My favorite tea has always been black iced. Mmm!

  • Macayla Cleeves

earl grey. 3 times a day.

  • Morgan

I like chai tea, but only when it has lots of milk and sugar in it. 🙂

  • There are way too many favorites! I like strong black teas, bonus points if they're spicy. There's this tea from Good Earth called Sweet and Spicy. It can be hard to find but it was around for at least the last half of my life. My mom used to drink it and once I tried it, I was hooked. It's very spicy in a hot cinnamon kind of way. I love it more than any of my fancy Teavana teas. So good.

  • I agree with you! I'm not a big fan of chai tea by itself!

  • Awesome! My favorite tea is a smoky tea that they sell at a french crepe shop near my condo, I've never found anything like it before!

  • That's so interesting! Teavana has such cool flavors!

  • It's so depressing when something you love gets discontinued! That happens to me all the time at Starbucks! Haha!

  • This sounds wonderful!! I'm definitely going to check this out!! My favorite flavor is peach tea!

  • ikkinlala

I don't know if this is open to Canadians, but just in case: my favourite kind of tea is genmaicha.

  • Amanda Lim

I love green and white tea, but I'm open to try others. 🙂
