Travel Diaries – Osaka Castle

Travel Diaries

Whoa boy, this was a fun little day trip even though the weather was a little poopy at the end! (It rained at the end of the stop, which was depressing) but it was still awesome to get to see Osaka Castle! This is what we did on our last day in Osaka!

Fun story time! While at the castle we met a nice old man who told us he was called Joe-jii, a pun on Joey and Ojiisan (which means ‘Old man’), which is awesome. He showed us the best picture spots, took photos of us, and helped us feed the birds! When we parted ways we gave him hugs and my necklace got caught on his headphones and he exclaimed that “the red string of fate brought us together”, amazing, am I right? It was such an awesome day!

Bye Bye Osaka! Next time will be Kyoto! See you then!

  • I just like saying the word osaka.

I am in love with that picture of the empty boats. Don't know why, just love it! Anywho, looks like a great trip, in spite of the rain!

  • The umbrella pictures are adorable! I also love how when you travel you meet the most interesting people, like the old man you encountered! It's one of my favorite parts of traveling.

  • It is fun to say!!

  • I loved that picture too! It didn't have much to do with the castle, but I loved that shot!

  • I love meeting awesome people on my travels, meeting him is a story I told everyone when I got home! He was just so awesome!
