Travel Diaries – The Elizabethan Gardens

Travel Diaries

I thought I’d take a break from my Korea/Japan Travel Diaries, and do one that I totally forgot about! This was way back in 2012, but it was a really nice trip none the less. The Elizabethan Gardens are in the Outer Banks and they are beautiful!!

Having a wedding here would be AMAZING!!! I can’t even begin to imagine how magical it would be!

I also really love taking pictures of flowers and other landscapes. Looking back through these photos really made me yearn for spring!!

Gorgeous! I love foxgloves, one of my absolute favorite flowers. Planting some this year in fact!

  • So pretty! That would seriously be a fairy-tale wedding!

  • So these gardens are located near the sea? Wow, so magical!

  • That Queen Elizabeth I statue is amazing!

  • They are so beautiful, I agree! If I had a garden, I would totally plant some!

  • Yep! The Outer Banks is a sort of sand bar/island that runs along the coast of North Carolina. It's such a lovely vacation spot!

  • I stood in front of it and stared at it for a such a long time, it's so beautiful!

  • That garden is beautiful and so is your flower photography! It reminds me of the gardens at the Biltmore Estate. I spent a day walking around Colonial Williamsburg last summer taking photos of their landscapes and flowers. I haven't done anything with them yet, but I'd love to make wall hangings with them.

  • Photos of flowers and landscapes make BEAUTIFUL canvas prints! I plan to turn a few of mine into canvas prints sooner or later!
