Travel Diaries – Niagara Falls

Travel Diaries

I’m trying to take advantage of everything I can around us on the east coast before we head out to Texas! So a few weekends ago we headed up to visit Niagara Falls, since Alex had never been there before. After accidentally almost crossing the border into Canada (none of us had our passports on us) we finally parked on the right side! After a quick lunch at Hardrock Cafe, we walked around the park! Now, I’ve been to both sides of the Falls multiple times, but it’s really fun to go with someone who hasn’t been there before! It’s an awesome sight to behold! The Falls are so powerful!

While looking down at this, my dad immediately said that it was snow. Since the Falls are cold, the snow from winter hasn’t melted yet and looks like a dirty glacier! Alex didn’t think it was snow, but didn’t know what else it could be. So when we went down to get closer we saw that it really WAS snow! So cool!!

My parents nearly got bowled over by a trolley while taking this picture for us! Niagara Falls trolleys don’t mess around!!
