Goodbye Pittsburgh! I spent six years living here, one year in a small pie shaped dorm room, which I thankfully had all to myself, and the next five living in a wonderful condo of which the only downfall was that it didn’t allow pets. (Boo!) I’ll miss the friends that I’ve made over these past six years, some of the most recent friends that I’ve made, I’m the saddest to leave behind! It didn’t really hit me until last night that, man, I’m moving! I’m LEAVING! I’m moving half way across the country, far away from friends and family! (Although I’m closer to a cousin in California now!)
I’m actually going to start being a real adult now and that sort of terrifies me, just a little bit.
Pittsburgh has been a home to me for what feels like a long time. There are a lot of things I’ll miss like being able to walk down Craig street, buy comic books at an awesome comic book shop, look at cool old books at Caliban’s, be so close to my old campus, be close to museums, walking to shop on Walnut Street, and a whole bunch of other local flair. I’m sure I’ll find new places in Houston, and I don’t regret my decision at all. I’ve wanted to leave PA since middle school and my dream of moving somewhere new is finally coming true!
Since we are driving all of life down to Texas, I’m going to be MIA from the blog, but some amazing lovely ladies have volunteered some great guest posts for the next week that I’ll be gone, so be excited for those! And the next time I see you, I’ll be in sunny, extremely hot, Houston!!
