Sometimes inspiration will strike me and I’ll get a complete logo idea/brand identity idea as a whole just EXPLODE in my mind. Then I need to immediately find something to write on so that I can remember the idea for when I get home, so I can actually create it. In times like this, I don’t normally need to whole planning phase, I don’t really have a mood board or a sketch book page full of ideas. I literally have a fully formed logo in my head. Of course, once I actually sketch it out, I make changes, tweaks, and generally improve upon it, but I love it when things like this happen.
Here is one of those logos, for a bakery called NIBLD. (Get it? Nibbled? NIBLD) I suppose I could have shorted it even more to NBLD. Well, sometimes hindsight is 20/20.
